Human Resources. Industrial Relations. Human First.

You don’t have to face conflict alone.

I help you through the hard conversations so you can clear the air, rebuild trust, and reach an outcome you can work with.

Brave conversations make better outcomes.

You don’t need another meeting with Supervision, HR or HSE when you know the outcome will be the same all over again — you’re just not heard. Nor do you need to choose between sweeping it under the rug or facing Fair Work.

You just need someone who’s seen it all, gets it, and can guide you through brave conversations to find resolutions that properly address the matter. No suits or scripts, judgment, memberships or agenda.

Just the opportunity to talk without fear or backlash and to have someone listen. Properly. I know it can be rough. Trust me, I’ve been there. But that means I also know there’s a way through.

My conflict resolution services can be something meaningful: a turning point that helps diffuse tension, rebuild trust, drive required action, and create better ways of being at work.

Hi, I’m Sarah Hamilton

For almost 25 years, I’ve worked among site-based crews of crane operators, dogmen, riggers, and electrical and mechanical tradespeople (to name a few), mediating and managing grievances. I’ve worked in HR, ER and IR across some of the toughest heavy industries and in the remotest environments.

So when I say I’ve seen it all, I mean it. My authority comes from lived experience: I’ve worked where you work, and I’ve also been on the other side.

I know what it’s like to be one of the few women in these spaces — particularly in leadership. I’ve felt unheard and unsafe, both at work and outside of it. I’ve raised concerns. And I found the courage to say enough.

Hamilton Resolutions was born from that experience — to help people the way I needed help back then. To make sure every voice is heard (particularly those who are frequently sidelined or undersupported).

I leaned into my courage, stood up and spoke up alone, but you don’t have to.

Lived empathy, not learned

I know what it’s like to be on the other side of a dispute. That lived experience means I understand the stakes, the stress, and the trauma, not just the process — especially for women working in male-dominated environments.

Grounded expertise in the hard stuff

More than two decades in HR, ER and IR across high-pressure Australian industries, including in contracted FIFO roles in the Pilbara’s mining and resources sectors.

Human-first approach

Everyone I meet, from the apprentice to the CEO, gets the same respect and curiosity. You’re not just a case number; you deserve to be heard and treated respectfully at work. After all, that’s what Positive Duty is all about.

Ready to clear the air?

You don’t have to navigate workplace challenges alone. I’m here to stand with you, listen, and help you take meaningful action.
